BNP's sheepskin sourced from major meat factories that have been accredited with export certificate in all states of Australia, and the fresh skins are graded and processed directly in the meat factories or immediately in partnership processing plants. All sheepskins are peeled with minimal damage.
BNP's products are mainly processed in Victoria, New South Wales, and Western Australia. In addition, a limited number of products are processed in Queensland and Tasmania.
Most Australian sheepskins are pure-bred merino and fine/medium hybrids. Although Victoria/New South Wales leather is always in great demand in the market, Western Australia leather is also very popular. SinceMerinoand Merino hybrid sheepskins are light weight leather with high quality, it is very suitable for making linings and provided as raw materials with light weight as product requirements.
Sheepskins are generally available throughout the year, and the length of wool varies. Sheepskins are classified according to the length of wool.
Wool length
It is explained in the wool length table (see next page)
Wool Fineness

56/58’s merino/comebacks
50/56’s broad merino cross

Offers are general made on basis of 50’s up or 50’s down although more specific categories can be packed and are available upon request, and according to customer's final usage.
